How to Find the Square root of any Number quickly
Short cut to find Square Root of any number
To find the Square root of any number is easy that can be done in only
20 seconds or less.
Eg: Square root of 334 is done in dividing it into two parts
==>1st part is out side the round symbol.. The 2nd part is inside the rounded part.
1).The square of a number to be selected as less than 3…. That is our 1st
number of the answer.
So, here 1² is less than 3-----------> 1 (first digit of answer)
Now subtract 1² i.e., 1
from 3
3-1= 2
2).When coming to the rounded
part 34… 4 is found at end of the square of 2 & 8 only.
So, the answer now may be
12 or 18.
As the number i.e., 1² = 1
is less than the answer we got from subtracting i.e., 2
We have to select the greater
value i.e., 8 ---------->8 (second digit of the answer)
By combining both we get
18 as answer approx..
For 4 digit number to find the square root….
6538:-
1). The 1st digit of the
answer would be 8² = 64 -----> 8
65-64= 1
8>1.,
2). The rounded part 38, in which 8
is not found in any of the square of a number.
In this case take 2 as the
second digit. ------->2
The answer is 82 approx..
